About

Born Maurice David Wade, “Mo Chedda”, has accomplished so much for his youthful     age of 24 years old. Originally from East Orange, New Jersey, Maurice started his life  of entertainment on the stage. At age 16 he joined the urban hip hop dance group  “Envy” (specializing in tuting and a modern form of pop- locking) and went on to tour the United States. Envy quickly became nationally recognized for being the two time winners of BET’s 106th & Park “Wildout Wednesday.” Envy also performed on MTV’s hit show “Spring Bling.” While a member of Envy, Mo had the opportunity of mixing various volumes of music for stage performances for multiple DJ’s in the tri-state area. This is when Mo knew he was destined to become a music producer.

Mo has had the extraordinary opportunities to work with some of the music industry’s best talents, including but not limited too: Kelly Rowland (Each Other), Day 26 (What It Feels Like), P.Diddy (Lover’s Land), Donnie Klang (Take You There), The Souldiggaz, Missy Elliot (Act A Fool), Teyana Taylor, Ciara, Cassie, Eric Hudson and Dawn Richard. He also created music for a Nike Commercial featuring Questlove (Ahmir Thompson), drummer of the band “The Roots” which was aired internationally. Becoming not only a master of dance but also a master at producing, he soon signed a publishing deal with EMI.

Recently, Maurice has taken on another challenge. With God on his side, he decided to walk out on faith with his music career as a solo artist. Considered to be one of Jersey’s best singing and songwriting talents, this R&B artist has taken rhythm and blues to another level. Many who hear his voice are left speechless, not being able to find the words to describe the brilliance behind his records. Whether he is soothing souls or making the club bounce, his music will reach the masses turning listeners into believers. He is truly a talent to marvel at. Singer, song-writer, producer, dancer, instrumentalist… yes, he can do it all. Follow this rising icon in the making!
